The Salesforce integration allows you to streamline your workflow by automatically syncing data from your meetings directly into your CRM. You can focus on building relationships and closing deals while ensuring all critical information is captured. This integration is designed to provide you with a single source of truth for all customer interactions.

What the Integration Does:

  • AI-Summarized Notes: Automatically generates concise summaries of key points from customer interactions, saving time and ensuring important details are captured. Summaries are captured from Video and Live interactions.

  • Comprehensive Data Integration: Adds notes, data, and recording links to the correct contacts, accounts, opportunities, and cases, ensuring all relevant information is easily accessible within Salesforce.

  • Accessible Data Through the Salesforce API: The system can read detailed information on contacts, accounts, opportunities, and tickets, including names, email addresses, and phone numbers.

  • Push Operations: AI-generated summaries and notes can be pushed to the Salesforce Timeline for any record (Contacts, Accounts, Opportunities, or Cases).

Step-by-Step Instructions

To set up the Salesforce integration, you must first ensure you meet the following prerequisites:

  • Salesforce Developer Account: A developer account or admin role with API permissions enabled is required.

  • API Access: API access must be enabled for each user who wishes to use the integration. This can be done at the profile or permission set level.

  • OAuth 2.0 Authentication: OAuth 2.0 will be used for secure authentication between your system and Salesforce.

Follow these steps to connect your accounts:

  1. Log in to Meetric: Navigate to the Meetric platform and sign in.

  2. Access Integrations: Go to Settings > Integrations in the navigation menu.

  3. Find Salesforce: Locate the Salesforce icon and click Connect.

  4. Authenticate Your Account: You will be redirected to a Salesforce login page. Sign in ang grant Meetric the necessary permissions to sync your data.

That´s it! Meetric will now be connected to your Salesforce account.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

  • My data isn't syncing. What should I do?

    • Check Permissions: First, confirm with your Salesforce admin that your user profile has "API Enabled" permissions.

      Check Mappings: Meetric syncs data based on contact name, email, and phone number. Ensure this information is present and correct in your meeting invites so Meetric can find the right record in Salesforce.

      Activate Deals View: If you aren't seeing your opportunities, navigate to Settings in Meetric and ensure the CRM deals view is activated.

  • Where do I find the Meetric data in Salesforce?

    • AI-generated summaries, notes, and recording links will appear in the Activity Timeline for the relevant Contact, Account, Opportunity, or Case.

  • How is my data security handled?

    • The integration is built using official Salesforce APIs and follows security best practices. We use OAuth 2.0 for authentication, which means we use secure access tokens and never store your Salesforce password.
